Abstract:
To provide a SAW element that can reduce a loss near an antiresonance frequency.SOLUTION: In a SAW resonator 1, an IDT electrode 7 has a plurality of electrode fingers 17 extending in a D2 direction in parallel with each other on a top face 3a of a piezoelectric material 3. Reflectors 9 are located on both ends in a D1 direction with respect to one IDT electrode 7. At least one of a plurality of insertion conductors 11 is located on each of both ends in the D1 direction of the IDT electrode 7. Each of the plurality of insertion conductors 11 has an even number of insertion electrode fingers 25 and a pair of connection parts 27. The even number of insertion electrode fingers 25 extend in parallel with the plurality of electrode fingers 17. The pair of connection parts 27 connect the even number of insertion electrode fingers 25 with each other on both sides in the D2 direction. In each of the plurality of insertion conductors 11, the insertion electrode fingers 25 on both sides in the D1 direction of the even number of insertion electrode fingers 25 are adjacent to any ones of the plurality of electrode fingers 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
