PURPOSE: To mechanically perform leveling work of a saw consisting of different shaped edge, by arranging each rotary moving table selectively determining NAGESHI and KAGOMI angles and depth of cut of a cutter in accordance with shape of the edge.

CONSTITUTION: Firstly a holder 15 is turned by a motor 16 in a cutter supporting and NAGESHI angle selecting mechanism 4, and a cutter 3 is selected to an obtained NAGESHI angle in accordance with the kind of a saw 1 to be leveled, then a turning head 18 is rotated by a motor 20 of a KAGOMI angle selecting mechanism 5 to select the cutter 3 to an obtained KAGOMI angle. Secondly, a table 12 fixed with the saw 1 is fed a prescribed pitch amount through a parent screw 11 by a motor 10, and then a supporting unit 14 is moved by a motor 22 of a cutter moving mechanism 7 to the direction of KAGOMI angle to move forward the cutter 3 to a cutting point. Then a motor 24 is rotated to vertically move the cutter 3 through a crank arm 28 and perform leveling work of the saw 1 to desired NAGESHI and KAGOMI angles and depth of cut.
