Abstract:

To obtain a sawing device reducing the wear of a saw blade and an accumulation of the fatigue damage to the electric motor substantially by controlling the jumping of the load current produced in the electric motor when the rotating saw blade contacts with a material to be cut.

In the sawing device equipped with: the rotating saw blade 3 to cut the steel 1 on a conveyance table 2; the electric motor 4 to rotate the rotating saw blade 3; and the drive unit to shift the rotating saw blade 3, the load current of the electric motor 4 is detected and the current pattern of the load current corresponding to the shift amount of the rotating saw blade 3 is generated based on the detected load current value. The speed pattern of the shift action of the rotating saw blade 3 to an actual load current is generated based on the generated current pattern. The generated speed pattern is corrected to accelerate the speed reduction position under a predetermined condition so that the jumping of the load current of the electric motor 4 is suppressed when cutting the steel 1. The drive unit is controlled based on the corrected speed pattern.
