PURPOSE: To provide a sawing machine drive device for reducing the time for saw blade changing by providing multiple saw blades on a sawing machine and simplifying a drive system to index and drive a desired saw blade among multiple saw blades at the cutting position.

CONSTITUTION: In a sawing machine, multiple turret type housings 11a to 11d are arranged on a rotatable column 9 in radial direction, and a rotatable saw blade 17 is provided in the housings 11a to 11d. Driven members 97a to 97d to rotate the saw blades 17 drivingly are installed in the column 9, and driven members 97a to 97d for the desired saw blade 17 among multiple saw blades 17 indexed and positioned at the cutting position and a drive member at an output shaft 71 interlocked with a drive motor 35 are installed so that they can be engaged and disengaged freely.
