PURPOSE: To prevent the increase of a slip caused by catching chips between a belt and a motive wheel and increase the transmission efficiency of a drive torque and reduce an energy loss by arranging a scraper for removing chips adhered on a saw blade belt between a work to be processed and the power wheel.

CONSTITUTION: The drive of motors 4, 5 is controlled by setting a value corresponding to the material quality, dimension and the like of a work 9 to be processed which is going to be cut by a drive power and a moving speed. A table 10 is moved in relation to a saw blade formed on the side end of a saw blade belt 1 between the pulleys 2, 3 driven by this motors 4, 5. The work 9 to be processed is cut after contacting the work 9 to be processed on the table 10 to the saw blade. During this cutting, the chips adhered to the saw blade belt 1 between the work 9 to be processed and the pulleys 2, 3 are removed by the scrapers 7, 8 installed on the rotary shafts 21, 31 of the pulleys 2, 3. Thereby, the increase of the slip caused by catching chips between this saw blade belt 11 and the pulleys 2, 3 is prevented.
