This device is provided with a waveform output circuit 21 which outputs a sawtooth waveform Vout of desired slope based on a signal Sh of arbitrary frequency, an amplitude limiting circuit 22 which limits the amplitude of the waveform Vout, when the signal Sh is equal to or less than a specific frequency and an amplitude control circuit 23 which controls so that the amplitude of the waveform Vout is constant within the range of a predetermined specific frequency of the signal Sh. The slope and amplitude of the waveform Vout in the neighborhood of a control boundary frequency is controlled continuously and automatically, when the circuit 22 is an upper limit frequency that stops amplitude limitating operation and the circuit 23 sets a lower limit frequency to start the amplitude control as a control boundary frequency.
