To provide a scaffold cloth material which facilitates recognition of a passage-side end, by reducing the step made between a treadboard and a girder material and which eliminates the risk of the jumping-up of an expanded metal during the use.

This scaffold cloth material 1 includes the rectangular treadboard 2 which is made of the expanded metal, a beam material 3 which is provided on the long side of the treadboard 2, and the girder material 4 which is provided on the short side of the treadboard 2. An upper flange 3b of the beam material 3 is provided with a bent portion which forms an opening inward, and the end of the treadboard is placed and housed therein. The girder material 4 comprises an upper flange end 4a for housing the bent portion of the beam material 3, and an upper flange recess 4b, which is bent from the upper flange end 4a and the inner surface of which abuts on the top surface of the short side of the treadboard. A step d, between the upper flange end 4a and the upper flange recess 4b, is set equal in dimension to the plate thickness of the beam material 3. A bond portion of the expanded metal and the upper flange recess 4b are fixed by welding from below. Since a welding spot is completely welded because no gap is formed between both steel materials, the risk of having the expanded metal bent is eliminated, because the welded place is cut during the usage.
