The scaffolding beam inserting device 10 is formed of gripping sections 14 for gripping a plurality of scaffolding beams 4 which are assembled in a boiler, a delivery section 15 for delivering the scaffolding beams 4 from one of a plurality of beam inlet sections formed in a boiler furnace wall, into the boiler, and traveling sections 13 for traveling outside the boiler so as to stop at a front surface of one of the plurality of beam inlet sections. By virtue of this formation, the single scaffolding beam inserting device can successively carry out work of gripping the scaffolding beam 4 and inserting the scaffolding beam 4 from the beam inlet section into the boiler.
