Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the relation of the tones constituting a scale visual in accordance with the principle of the scale. SOLUTION: The surface of the scale display sheet 1 circularly arranged with the scale on the sheet is printed with a circumference display part 3, plural diametral lines 4 connecting plural prescribed points and a scale display part 5. The plural prescribed points refer to the positions where the pitches of the tones constituting the scale are indicated. The entire circumference of the circumference display part 3 is determined as the frequency ratio of one octave and the pitch of the main tone (do) of the scale is determined as a reference position. The points described above are the positions of the angles directly proportional to the frequency ratios of the tones relative to this main tone. Consequently, the tones constituting the scale are arranged in order of the pitches.
