Abstract:

To provide a scale formation preventing component coming in contact with water in boiler and manufacturing method thereof, in which scale formation is prevented, the heat transfer in the boiler is not degraded in a long period of time, and fuel and water are not wasted.

The scale formation prevention component comprises a part formed of a metal-base material and a hydrophilic film formed on the surface coming into contact with water at least in operation of the boiler.
