PURPOSE: The titled scale preventing agent, consisting of an acrylic copolymer consisting of a specific monomer, a polymerization inhibitor and an epoxy compound, capable of inh8biting the occurrence of fine polymers, and repeatedly usable.
CONSTITUTION: (A) An acrylic copolymer consisting of a monomer of formulaI (R1 is H or methyl; R2 is N-monoalkyl substituted aminoalkyl or N-dialkyl substituted aminoalkyl), e.g. dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, and a monomer of formyla III (R3 is H or methyl; R4 is hydroxyalkyl), e.g. 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, at a weight ratio of (1/99)W(99/1), (B) 0.05W30wt%, based on the component (A), water-soluble polymerization ibhibitor, and (C) 40W5wt%, based on the nonvolatile component, water-soluble hydrophilic epoxy compound, e.g. polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether, are dissolved in a solvent, e.g. water, to give the simed scale preventing agent.
