PURPOSE: To obtain a scalp treating agent capable of maintaining the scalp after the treatment of permanent waving or hair dyeing in a normal state by blending a specific amount of an amidobetaine type amphoteric surfactant with hemin or hematin as essential ingredients.
CONSTITUTION: This scalp treating agent contains an amidobetaine type amphoteric surfactant (0.1-15wt.%) and hemin or hematin (≥0.001wt.%) as essential ingredients. Lauramidopropyldimethylaminobetaine, etc., are cited as the amide type amphoteric surfactant and both the hemin and hematin are porphyrin-based compounds derived from blood originating from an animal and present by forming a complex with a natural protein. This treating agent is capable of moderating a sense of incompatibility such as a tight or a smart feeling or a burning sensation readily occurring in the scalp after the treatment with permanent waving or hair dyeing and maintaining the scalp in a normal state.
