Title:
SCANNING LASER MICROSCOPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004110017
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a scanning laser microscope which prevents second laser light from impinging on a light detection system of a first scanning optical system to efficiently detect fluorescence excited by the laser light of the first scanning optical system in the case a plurality of scanning optical systems are used.

The scanning laser microscope is provided with: a first scanning optical system (A) which makes the first laser light having a spectrum in the visible region scan a sample to excite fluorescence; a first dichroic mirror which separates fluorescence from the sample from the optical path of the first laser light; a photodetector (112) which detects the fluorescence separated by the first dichroic mirror (25); a photometric filter (19) which is arranged between the first dichroic mirror and the photodetector, intercepts the first laser light and transmits desired fluorescence; a second scanning optical system (B) which introduces second laser light having a spectrum in the ultraviolet or infrared region to a specific portion of the sample; and an absorption filter (31) which is arranged between the first dichroic mirror and the photodetector and limits transmission of the second laser light.
