PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive and easily assemblable scanning measuring instrument which is capable of accurate measurement.
CONSTITUTION: A guide rod 4 for guiding and supporting a light source part 7 is mounted on a lower beam 2 by a jack bolt 6 so that the distance can be adjusted. Similarly, a guide rod 5 for guiding and supporting a detection part 8 is mounted on an upper beam 1 by the jack bolt 6 so that the distance can be adjusted. Then, a first feed screw mechanism 9 for guiding the guide rod 4 and running a light source part 7 is mounted on the lower beam 2. And, a second feed screw mechanism 10 for running the detection part 8 with the guide rod 5 as a guide is mounted on the upper beam 1. Further, a power transfer mechanism 11 for transferring the drive force of a drive source 12 to first and second feed screw mechanisms 9 and 10 is provided.
