To provide a scatter preventing device to serve when earth and sand are stacked on the rear body of a transporting vehicle without dropping the earth and sand from altitude using a low stacking expense and a short stacking time even if the hopper size is enlarged.

The scatter preventing device is equipped with a hopper 1 for stacking the earth and sand and a supporting leg 2 to support the hopper 1 for forming a working space where the transporting vehicle 3 enters under the hopper 1. The arrangement includes a stacking pipe 4 connected with the hopper 1 in such a way as coming out of and retreating into the working space and allowing the earth and sand stacked in the hopper 1 to flow down onto the rear body of the vehicle 3.
