Abstract:

To easily estimate existence of scattered particles which give influence on radio wave propagation in wireless communication.SOLUTION: A scattered particle estimation device estimates existence of scattered particles which cause disadvantage in propagating a wireless signal. The device includes: a measurement section for measuring power intensity of a wireless signal to be transmitted from a transmission station to a reception station via a plurality of propagation routes for each propagation route; a calculation section for calculating a fluctuation amount of power intensity measured by the measurement section for each propagation route by defining each one of reference power intensities of a wireless signal measured for each propagation route when scattered particles do not exist as reference; a range estimation section for estimating an existence range of scattered particles based on each one of fluctuation amounts calculated by the calculation section for each propagation route; and a density estimation section for estimating a density of existence of scattered particles based on an existence range of scattered particles estimated by the range estimation section and a fluctuation amount calculated by the calculation section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
