Abstract:
To provide a scavenger for reducing or removing a specific chemical material such as radioactive matter contained in contaminated water, to provide a method and an apparatus using the scavenger, to solve the problem of elution in the case of using an absorbent such as prussian blue and alginic acid, and to achieve the subjects at a low cost.SOLUTION: Provided are: a scavenger which contains an absorbent (for instance, prussian blue, alginic acid or the like) having high binding power or selectivity to a specific chemical material, and nano cellulose; and a scavenger which contains a porous body such as cylindrical diatomous earth, having an inside space filled with an absorbent, and a nano cellulose dispersion.
