Abstract:
To provide an internal combustion engine capable of forming a scavenging duct by inserting an insert after a cylinder unit is molded.
The internal combustion engine comprises a cylinder chamber having a hollow circular cylinder section in the interior thereof, a piston slidably fitted in the circular cylinder section, a crankcase in communication with the cylinder chamber and at least one scavenging duct insert for allowing the cylinder chamber and the crankcase to communicate with each other, and the insert constitutes at least part of the circular cylinder section.
