Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an exposure control and a flash emission control by determining a specified photographic scene, such as a candle scene, with accuracy.SOLUTION: A photometry sensor 26 comprises: a first pixel group that has sensibility in a visible light region; and a second pixel group that has the sensibility in a deep red to a near-infrared region. By controlling the photometry sensor, a camera control section 41 measures a luminance value in accordance with an output of the first pixel group in each of a plurality of photometry regions in an image obtained by the photographic scene, and measures an infra-red value in accordance with the output of second pixel group in each photometry region. The camera control section determines whether or not that the photographic scene is a specified scene in accordance with the luminance value and the infra-red value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
