PURPOSE: To automatically delete past unnecessary set time data from a setting data memory every time alarm screen is displayed.

CONSTITUTION: In an English language word processor equipped with a setting data memory for storing data of a plurality of times set up to alarm, and a clock element for outputting a start signal to start a system when a realtime mode time signal is output and,when a set of setup times stored in the internal memory coincide with current time, wherein the scheduler, when current time comes to one of a plurality of set up times, is made to display a predetermined alarm screen and at the same time, reads out data of the setup time nearest to the future set up time from the setting data memory and stores the read data in the internal memory of the clock element, if an alarm screen displayed is confirmed and treated for delete operation when a system starts, setup time data preceding the current time stored in the setting data memory is retrieved, and past setup time data is all deleted from the setting data memory (S30).
