An element comparison creating unit 2 of a schema generating device 1 compares component information which is included in a search expression for searching for component information indicating a management object component, with table information which is included in query history information querying a relational database 5, and creates correspondence information which indicates a correspondence of the component information with the table information. A relevance comparison creating unit 3 compares relevant information which indicates relevance between the components included in the retrieval expression and information which indicates relevance of tables included in the query history information, and creates correspondence information which indicates a correspondence of the relevant information with the query history information. A schema generating unit 4 generates a schema definition by using the correspondence information created by the element comparison creating unit 2 and the correspondence information created by the relevance comparison creating unit 3.
