Abstract:
To provide a Schmitt trigger circuit arbitrarily adjusting a threshold value.
In the Schmitt trigger circuit, threshold voltage of inverters 2, 3 is adjusted by potential control circuits 7, 8. The threshold potential of the inverter 2 becomes threshold value VIH and the threshold potential of the inverter 3 becomes the threshold value VIL. Level shifters 9, 10 amplify potential levels of output signals of the inverters 2, 3 to power source potential VDD. Consequently, a user easily adjusts the threshold values VIH, VIL to arbitrary values between the power source potential VDD and reference potential VSS, and versatility of the Schmitt trigger circuit is expanded.
