Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the filling degree of scintillator powder in a composite scintillator member.
CONSTITUTION: Scintillator powder and the powder of a filling binding material are mixed with each other and press-molded to produce a molded product having a high density and a high filling degree of the scintillator powder. The binding material filled in the molded product is thermally melted and subsequently cooled and to provide a solidified composite scintillator member having a high filling degree of the scintillator powder.
