PURPOSE: To provide such a scissors grinding attachment as capable of griding a blade from the edge to the root in accord with a ridgeline curve of the blade autaratically.

CONSTITUTION: In scissors S, the blade root side is held by a holding fixed claw 37 of blade root holding plate 36 installed tight to a holding member 31, while the blade edge side is held by a blade edge holding plate 32. If so, the ridgeline direction of a blade face of the scisoors S becomes a specified angle in the rotational direction of a grinding surface 11a of a grinder 11. At this time, the blade edge holding plate 32 is preadjusted and fixed so as to make an angle to the grinding surface 11a of the blade face of the scissors S come to the specified angle. In addition, the blade root holding plate 36 mounted on a rocker plate 41 is rocked up and down by rotation of a motor 45 via a cam plate 44 and a rocker shaft 43. With this constitution, as for the scissors S, a grinding part ranging from the edge to the root is repeatedly moved as contacting with the grinding surface 11a, thus the scissors S are automatically ground in accord with the ridgeline direction of the blade face.
