PURPOSE: To simply and precisely polish scissors even having a curved surface, by forming a guide surface adapted to make slidably contact with the rear surface of the scissors, in such a shape that the front surface thereof is a convex curved surface.

CONSTITUTION: Two polishing parts 5, 6 incorporate nylon resin grind stone beds 8, 9 planted upright on the upper surface of a base part, respectively. Guide surfaces 8a, 9a formed in upright surfaces of the grind stone beds 8, 9 are convex surfaces having suitable curvatures as viewed in horizontal cross- sections thereof. Further, a polishing surface 14a of a rear polishing grind stone 14 and a guide surface 13a of a guide part 13 are similarly convex surfaces. Each of grind stones 10, 11, 12 obliquely fixed to the grind stone beds 8, 9 has a slight gap (about 0.05mm to about 0.5mm) in its attaching base part.
