To provide scissors, miniaturized on the whole and taking or picking fruits, capable of performing the cutting operation by only the delicate movement of fingers.
The scissors are made for cutting an object to be cut by the opening/closing operation of a pair of blade bodies 1 and 2 journaled in the intermediate section by a pivot 7 and energized always in the direction of opening. The scissors have a support rod 3 with a finger hook part 4 disposed on the base of one blade body 1 to hook fingers other than a thumb downward in the direction crossing the direction of extension of the blade body 1, and also have a pressure part 5 on the base of the other blade body 2 to be pressed by the thumb in the direction of extension of the blade body 2. Accordingly, the support rod 3 is supported with a plurality of fingers other than the thumb, and the blade bodies 1 and 2 can be opened/closed only by the pressing operation of the pressure part 5 with the tip of the thumb for performing the cutting operation.
