To provide scissors in which shapes of blades are stabilized even if any metallic plate is used while suppressing the occurrence of adhesion of the adhesive to blade back faces and to increase sharpness while maintaining durability.

The pair of scissors include a movable blade 31 and a static blade 32 as a pair of plate-shaped blades respectively formed by press working. The movable blade 31 and the static blade 32 respectively include edge line portions 311, 321 for sliding against the other blade, and recessed portions 31s, 32s which are respectively formed at a portion adjacent to the edge line portions 311, 321 with a difference in level from the edge line portions 311, 321, are respectively away from blade back faces 311a, 321a of the other blade in a thickness direction, and have bottom faces 31s1, 32s1 substantially parallel to blade back faces 311a, 321a of the edge line portions 311, 321.
