To provide scissors adapted to any type of scissors only by simply and partially modifying its structure, and securely cutting only an objective, specific, unwanted hair such as a white hair at the root without unnecessarily cutting other hairs.

The scissors are integrally formed of scissors bodies 1 and 2 and finger holes 3 and 4 through handles 6 and 7, the back sides of the two scissors bodies are opposed to each other, and the two scissors bodies are pivoted by a pivot 10. In the scissors, at least one of the scissors bodies extends outward beyond the tip 29 of a cutting edge, and includes a hook-shaped portion 21 extending substantially orthogonally inward. The hook-shaped portion may be integrated with the scissors body, alternatively the hook-shaped portion may be separated from the scissors body and configured such that an L-shaped hook member including the hook-shaped portion is fixed to the scissors body into an integral structure.
