Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scissors that help work to be done safely by the tips with the entire scissors closed, keep the tips unexposed when the tips are not in use and choose between the peeling and the cutting of a covered electric wire.
SOLUTION: Mutually parallel guideways are formed on both sides of the near center of a pivot 13, the connecting hole 15 of a half body 10B, the side supported by the pivot 13 is comprised of a first round hole of the same diameter as the pivot 13 and a second hole 15b separated by a prescribed distance and a slot connecting the round holes and passed through the guideways of the pivot 13, and a hole 14 to pass an electric wire is formed nearly in the center of one blade 11b, and the cutting edge of the other blade is curved, and by changing the fulcrum position of the pivot 13, the whole or half of the electric wire passing hole 14 can be blocked by the other blade when the blades are closed.
