To provide scissors convenient for cutting a cubic article without damaging the blades.
The blade points 3, 4 of the blades 1, 2 are made not to engage with each other when the blades are closed to the utmost. The positions of the blade points 3, 4 of the blades 1, 2 are deviated in the longitudinal direction of the blades 1, 2 lest the blades points 3, 4 should engage with each other. One or both of the blade points 3, 4 of the blades 1, 2 are downwardly inclined to be shaped like an arc or tapered from the outside to the inside in the cross direction of the blades 1, 2, whereby the blade points 3, 4 do not engage with each other. A stopper 21 is provided inside either one or both of gripping parts 20 of the blades 1, 2, so that the blade points 3, 4 do not engage with each other when the two blades 1, 2 are closed to the utmost. By making one or both of the blades 3, 4 open outward in the thickness direction, by thinning the thickness in the thickness direction from the inside to the outside to provide a gap between the blade points 3 and 4, so that they do not engage with each other. One or both of the blade points 3, 4 are pointed forward.
