Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency through a decrease in fluid resistance of a scoop pipe, by a method wherein a notch is provided on the end face of a coupling part between the forward end part of the scoop pipe and a round pipe. CONSTITUTION:A notch 14 is provided in an end face 13 of the coupling part of a scoop pipe 6 along a side 8 of the forward end part of the scoop pipe. As a result, an impact flow is prevented from being produced at the end face 13 of the forward end part, and a flow 10 running to the open air side, produced at the side of the forward end of the scoop pipe, is caused to smoothly flow along a rotary solution surface 9. This decreases fluid resistance of the scoop pipe 6.
