In this scooter type vehicle, as a cooling system for an engine body 13, a water cooling system is adopted, and a radiator is arranged in the vehicle forward side from the engine body 13. The controller 58 is arranged inside a vehicle body cover 26 covering a vehicle body frame 13. An air cleaner 48C is disposed above a muffler 46 arranged in the side direction of a rear wheel 16 and constituting an exhaust device 43. In the vehicle plane view, the air cleaner 48C is disposed so as to overlap with the muffler 46.
