PURPOSE: To minimize the surface area and the weight as least as possible to increase the efficiency in relation to the fuel quantity, by providing a conical vehicle and providing a plurality of scram engine modules in band-shape around the conical vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A first stage 1 is a rocket booster provided with conventional control guide fins. A second stage or a scram stage 2 is a conical vehicle surrounded by a plurality of engine modules 5 having high air-intake efficiency. A third stage 3 is a payload which is incorporated in the nose of a conical vehicle to form a front body of this missile. A cone-shaped fuel tank 6 is provided inside the scram-stage 2. The engine modules 5 are wound around the scram stage being the conical vehicle. The engine modules 5 have a effectively lightweight side wall compression inlet. Thus, the surface area and the weight are minimized and high efficiency is obtained in relation to the given quantity of fuel.
