Abstract:
To provide a method for detecting at low cost whether or not copper powder or the like is mixed as much as or more than an allowable range in iron scraps of machining chips or the like.
Pressure caused by the presence of scraps can be measured by a measuring mechanism that measures gravity or the like and then, a ratio of irons contained in scraps is analyzed by changing a magnetic field to be applied over the scraps and measuring a degree of a change of the pressure corresponding to the change of the magnetic field through the measuring mechanism. A mechanism for also dealing with the case where a heap of scraps is not shaped uniform or the distribution of copper or the like in the heap is not uniform is provided.
