Abstract:
To provide zirconia ceramics having a composition and physical properties suitable for a scraper and to provide a scraper which clarifies the optimal profile of zirconia ceramics scraper with the composition and the physical properties and has abrasion resistance, impact resistance and durability without causing chip of the blade edge of a scraper and insufficiency of scraping.
The scraper is the zirconia sintered material mainly comprising ZrO2and Y2O3, which is characterized in that the molar ratio of Y2O3/ZrO2is in a range of 2/98-4/96, Al2O3is included in an amount of 0.05-3 wt% based on the total of the sintered material, the thickness of the blade edge is 0.15-0.5 mm, and the profile of the blade edge is consisting of one blade edge angle θ1 being 90°or more to less than 100°and the other blade edge angle θ2 being 85-95° and is a wedge form to satisfies the conditions θ1≥θ2 and the surface roughness Ra of the blade edge is 0.2-0.5 μm.
