To provide a scraper with a pinching rubber for use in easily peeling off wallpaper considering work of peeling off the wallpaper requiring both hands wherein a portion of the wallpaper peeled off by the scraper or the like held by the dominant hand is taken away by the nondominant hand, and is accompanied by the risk of losing balance with both the hands occupied in a high place.

In a conventional scraper consisting of a shaft and a blade receiving part, the front end of the shaft is provided with an attaching band, and the attaching band is provided with a fulcrum point in a position where the root portion of the blade receiving part is pinched from right and left sides. In an arm and a lever which are connected to each other with the fulcrum point, the lever extends towards a user below the shaft, and the arm extends above the shaft to the front end of the blade receiving part. The front end of the arm is provided with the pinching rubber in the shape of a half round tube in parallel with a blade base part.
