Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for repairing the scraping blade of a rotary kiln in which the repair of the blade can be conducted in a short period.
CONSTITUTION: The method for repairing the scraping blade of a rotary kiln comprises the steps of removing the embrittled layer of the blade 4 made of a refractory material protruding at a predetermined interval from the inner surface of the wall of the kiln, then opening a lower hole 8 at the material, so hitting an anchoring member 9 having a nonreturn pawl 12 to the lower hole as not to be removed, mounting the material with the member 9 as an anchor, and regenerating the blade.
