PURPOSE: To prevent the leakage of excessive ink out of the terminal end part of a stencil paper in a screen body for stencil printing.
CONSTITUTION: A rectangular screen body 1 for stencil printing is provided with a non-printing area 5, formed so as to have the shape of a frame, and an ink penetrating printing area 6, provided at the inside of the non-printing area 5. A frame type adhesive layer 7 is formed along four sides enclosing the printing area 6. The screen body 1 for stencil printing is formed so as to have a cylindrical shape and is used as the form cylinder of a stencil printing device. A stencil paper S, mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the screen body 1 for stencil printing, is retained by the adhesive layer 7. Ink is supplied from the opposite side of the stencil paper S while stencil printing is effected while pressing a printing paper against the stencil paper. Excessive ink, not consumed, is sent to the opposite direction to a printing direction A by a pressure upon printing. Even when the excessive ink is arrived at the termianal end part of the printing area 6 the stencil paper S is contacted closely to the screen body 1 for stencil printing through the adhesive layer 7 whereby ink will never be leaked out of a gap between the screen body 1 for stencil printing and the stencil, paper S.
