Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screen display method in which one index is displayed on the display screen of an ultrasonic flaw detector and in which a gate function or a cursor function is realized selectively by the index.
SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic flaw detector, ultrasonic waves are transmitted to an object, to be inspected, from an ultrasonic probe, a reflected echo which is returned from the object to be inspected is received and detected, and an echo waveform is displayed on a display screen 21a. In the flaw detector, one index line 51 is displayed on the display screen 21a, the index line is expressed as a gate 54A in a measuring mode so as to function, and it is expressed as a cursor 54B in a calibration mode so as to function.
