PURPOSE: To obtain a white-line gravure screen ensuring both high strippability and gas permeability, and being suitable for preparation of a gravure plate capable of printing on sealing resin, by forming a screen pattern in a specified shape and arrangement.
CONSTITUTION: The total area of opaque parts as shown as hatched parts F in the figure is ≥44% of the total area, and the width (a) of transparent parts formed between the parts F is ≤250μ in a white-line gravure screen. One part of these opaque parts F is converted into a transparent part under a specified condition: (ii) 10W32% of the opaque parts F are converted into transparent parts H surrounded by dotted lines, and the width (c) of the opaque parts I nonconverted and the opaque parts J reduced by its conversion becomes 300W500μ, and yet, (iii) ≥1 of the opaque parts of every row and column are left nonconverted, but the converted parts are uniformly distributed in general, thus permitting a desired gravure screen to be obtained.
