Abstract:

To provide a screen image data plate setting system and a screen image data fetching device with which plate setting can be easily performed from images displayable on a monitor.

An operator starts a game through a game machine 3 and displays images on an RGB monitor 7. The operator preserves a desired screen image to be fetched on a hard disk 9 as a still picture for one frame. In the case of an action game or the like with quick motion, several continuous frames are fetched in advance and required one shot is selected later. Screen image data are selected by a personal computer and preserved in a magneto-optical disk 13. The data preserved in the magneto-optical disk 13 are converted to data for printing and while using these data for printing, plate setting is performed.
