To provide a screen printing device and printing method that can reduce the load of an operator when correcting a defective area of wiring patterns, and can prevent the occurrence of errors such as human-caused positioning mistakes.
A correction screen printing part 20 provided in a screen printing device transfers a correction paste 28 to a substrate 10 on a printing press platen 30 by a correction squeegee 24 through a screen plate 22 in which a through-hole 22a is provided. A control part 50 detects a location 12a at which a wiring pattern 12 on the substrate 10 is missing based on an image of the substrate 10 imaged by an imaging part 40, and controls the correction screen printing part 20 for attaching the correction paste 28 to the location 12a at which the wiring pattern 12 on the substrate 10 is missing.
