PURPOSE: To prevent blurring from ocurring at the time of printing and enable to print a high-density minute pattern, by a method wherein a screen mask is evenly pressed against the surface of an object to be printed thereon by the pressure of a gas, and an ink is applied onto a pattern part by the pressure.

CONSTITUTION: The object 7 to be printed thereon and the pattern 9 of the screen mask 8 are brought into register with each other, and then an ink 11 is applied onto a surface of the mask 8 by a roller 10. Then, a pressurizing jig 13 provided with a sealing member 12 at an outside peripheral part thereof is pressed against the object 7 from the surface of the mask 8, a gas is introduced into the interior of a cavity 14 of the jig 13 through a gas-introducing port 15, and the mask 8 and the ink 11 are pressurized by the pressure of the gas, thereby printing is performed. Then, the pressure inside the cavity 14 is removed, the jig 13 is also removed, and the mask 8 is separated from the object 7.
