Abstract:
To provide a screening method for cognition function improving medicine that can be implemented on a high-order brain function based principally on a frontal association area at extremely low cost and in a short time, and further can be statistically handled.SOLUTION: A screening method includes: the processes of: (1) administering a test substance to a bird chick; (2) implementing a first learning subject on the bird chick to which the test substance has been administered; (3) implementing a second learning subject different from the first learning subject on the bird chick used in the process (2), and a contrast, and then comparing learning effects; and (4) selecting, as a candidate substance, a test substance whose learning effect on the contrast has been acknowledged in the process (3).SELECTED DRAWING: None
