Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw fastener capable of carrying out secondary fastening with high accuracy by a simple structure.SOLUTION: A head portion 14a of a bolt 14 and an abutting portion 16 of a collar 15 have stepped surfaces 14f and 15c transmitting rotations in a fastening direction of the bolt 14 to the collar 15; inclined surfaces 14h and 15e extending a shaft portion 14b of the bolt 14 by rotations in a bolt fastening direction of the collar 15; and stopper surfaces 14h and 15g regulating rotations in the bolt fastening direction of the collar 15, successively in a circumferential direction. After carrying out primary fastening for rotating the bolt 14 with the predetermined torque in the fastening direction, when the bolt 14 is fixed so as not to rotate, and only the collar 15 is rotated in the bolt fastening direction, the shaft portion 14b of the bolt 14 is extended by predetermined amount H and is plastically deformed, with the inclined surfaces 14h and 15e. When the collar 15 is rotated by a predetermined angle θ, the rotations in the bolt fastening direction of the collar 15 is regulated by the stopper surfaces 14h and 15g, and torque for rotating the collar 15 in the bolt fastening direction is abruptly increased, so that the secondary fastening is finished at that position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
