To provide a screw conveyor for compost production configured to prevent the adhesion of kneaded raw materials to an inner wall of a screw cylinder.
A lining layer of an elastic material 11 is integrally disposed on the inner peripheral wall surface of the screw cylinder incorporating a rotary screw 4 and the marginal side of the outer periphery of rotary screw blades 6 is brought into contact with the lining of the elastic material 11.
