PURPOSE: To provide a screw conveyer for conveying earth and sand, which can be freely bent by arranging a plurality of screw conveyers in the bending state, and disposing rotation transmitting means connected to a screw blade on the bending portion.
CONSTITUTION: A curved inner cylinder 9 is disposed on a connecting portion of cylinders 4, 4' of screw conveyers 2, 2' disposed in the bending state, and screws 3, 3' are extended in the inner cylinder 9 in such a manner that the end portions are opposed in the separate state. The inner cylinder 9 is fixed to the outer end portions of screw driving cylinders 5, 5' through a bearing 10. In this arrangement, the screw driving cylinder 5 is rotated by driving a motor 6 through a gear 6a, a screw driving gear 7 and a gear 5d. As the inner periphery of an inner end portion 5a of the driving cylinder 5 is connected B, C to a screw blade 3a, the screw 3 is rotated. Thus, the screw conveyer can be freely bent and driven smoothly.
