Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a low-priced screw conveyor enabling curved conveyance in addition to allowing the carrier distance of optional length to be selected without using a joint.
CONSTITUTION: A coating layer 3 made of thermoplastic resin is formed into approximately complete round cross section on the outer peripheral surface of deflectable metal core material 2. A streak of spiral thread part 4 made of thermoplastic resin larger in hardness than that of the coating layer 3 is protrusively provided on the outer peripheral surface of the coating layer 3, with the surface of the coating layer 3 as the root part, to form a screw conveyor 1.
