To stably carry out stirring and mixing materials regardless of the properties of the materials and at the same time save the installation space at the time of installation with respect to an apparatus for stirring and mixing materials using a screw conveyer.
A feeding part 100 in which a feeding screw conveyer 20 is installed and a stirring part 200 in which a stirring screw conveyer 60 are separately composed and joint parts 31 and 32 in the feeding part side and joint parts 71 and 72 in the stirring part side are joined to each other to use them. Joining is done in a plurality of up and down stages other than linear joining so that the installation space is saved at the time of installation. A gate mechanism 50 is installed between the feeding screw conveyer 20 and the stirring screw conveyer 60 to expand or contract the flowing channel cross-section of a material to be stirred and at the same time to control the rotation so that feeding amount can be controlled precisely.
