Abstract:
To provide a screw device which can be surely fixed to a metal plate even when a hard metal plate and a relatively thin metal plate are used, and a fixing method of the screw device to the metal plate.
The screw device is provided with a cylindrical drum part 12 in which a female screw 11 is formed at its central part, a flange part 13 formed at one end of the drum part 12, and a nearly cylindrical skirt part 14 which is arranged between the drum part 12 and the flange part 13 and has a tapered face 15 in which the farther from the axial center of the drum part 11, the larger the distance from the flange part 13, and the nearer to the axial center of the drum part 11, the smaller the distance from the flange part 13.
